Let me tell you a short story.

There was a man who surfed around in virtual reality for a long time,
checking out religious sites and even sending and receiving messages from
pastors and other religious leaders. But after a while, he decided that he
just wasn't connecting with people; it wasn't enough. What should he do? He
picked a religious group that really touched his heart, and one day he
decided to drop in on them, in the flesh. This man was Jesus Christ. You
see, God decided that being in heaven was not enough; that to really change
mankind he needed to get down in the real world among us, so God "became
flesh" as John 1:14 puts it, and Jesus Christ came to give us meaningful
life one earth and eternal life in heaven.

Now if virtual reality was not good enough for God, my guess is that it
isn't good enough for you or me, either. We need real live relationships. We
just cannot get all of our spiritual needs met on the Internet alone. We're
glad you've stopped in on our web page. Now, why don't you drop in on us in
the flesh? If you do, I believe you will sense the Spirit of God at work.
Oh, don't get me wrong. We're not a perfect church, and I'm certainly
not a perfect pastor. But there is an enthusiasm about serving Christ in
this church that is contagious. Come see for yourself. I pray that you will
catch the virus-- not a virus that will infect your computer, but your
heart.
