YAC
stands for Youth Alive for Christ, but it is more than a name.
We believe our students are living models of Christ in every area of
their lives. We strive to equip our students for ministry, growth,
leadership, and service outside the walls of the church.

Welcome to the YAC SHAC
Our Student
Center, located on the corner of 7th St. and Richland Ave., is home
to the greatest group of young people you will ever meet. The youth
leadership and volunteers are focused on preparing the young people
for ministry both now and in the future. Our prayer is that you
might find your place here with us. You are welcome here. We’ve been
praying you would come.

Wednesdays at 6:30 & 7:00 PM
DEEP begins
at 6:30 each Wednesday night with a period of dynamic worship and
prayer. At 7:00 students can choose between various bible &
discipleship study series. For High School Girls, we offer a new
group called VIRTUE, a session for “girl talk” with biblically sound
and culturally relevant discussion. For our High School Boys, we
offer IRON, a practical session with a biblical message. Students
may choose to participate in Youth Bible Drill, a competitive way to
learn and memorize God’s Word.

Morning Bible Study
Sundays
at 9:00 & 10:30 AM
All our Bible Study small groups are taught by gifted
communicators that love students. At 9:00, we provide breakfast,
then separate into two divisions; Middle and High School. Middle
School meets in the Green Room for assembly, then on to their
classes. We have a girls only and guys only class for every age
group. The High School meets in the Main room for assembly, then on
to their classes. We have a coed class for every age group. At
10:30, we offer two classes; a middle and a high school class. They
meet in the Green room for assembly at 10:25.
Above & Beyond Student
Choir
Sundays
at 4:30 PM
Our student choir stands out as one of the biggest and best
youth choirs in
our area. They sing once month on Sundays during evening worship. In
2006 they went on tour of North Georgia and in Summer of 2007, will
be singing on the Mission Trip to St. Thomas, USVI
