times and locations of these groups. Some are during the 9:00
a.m. Sunday School, and some are during the 10:30 a.m. Sunday
School.
PRESCHOOL
Birth thru K5.
Meets at 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. in the Education Building across
the street from the main worship center. Infants are cared
for by the Welcome Center, which is near the drive-through
portico in the back part of the worship center.
CHILDREN
1st
grade thru 5th grade. Meets at 9 a.m. in the
Education Building across the street from the main worship
center; classes are set up on the present grade the child is in
at school, with a class for each grade.
"KIDS FOR
JESUS"….CHILDREN’S WORSHIP MEETS AT 10:30 IN THE EDUCATION
BUILDING ON THE FIRST FLOOR.
K-5 thru 3rd grade. Music,
Puppets, drama, and children’s on hand activities are a part of
this children’s worship experience. Becky Cowart directs the

YOUTH
6th
grade thru 12th grade. The Youth meet in the Youth
building just southeast of the main Sanctuary. Youth Sunday
School is at 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. The larger Youth Sunday
School meets at 9 a.m. with classes for each grade. A smaller
group meets at 10:30 a.m.

COLLEGE AND CAREER
This group of young people meets at 10:30
a.m. in the White building southeast of the main Sanctuary
across the street. Mona Underwood is the department director.

information. There are three classes set up for this age group.
Students from local colleges and universities attend this Bible
study each Sunday. The group also has a Wednesday night study at
7 p.m. in the Memorial Chapel.
ADULTS
Singles,
Widowed, & Divorced
Julie
Weddle teaches this group at 9 a.m.. The group meets in the
Memorial Chapel Complex near the playground upstairs. The group
is composed of a
mixed group of
singles, including those never married, widowed and divorced
from 30-50. This is a very active group of people who very much
enjoy fellowship as well as Bible Study.
Ladies Class
Melisa Grubbs teaches this group. The class meets at 9 a.m. on
the first floor of the Memorial Chapel Complex which is near
playground area. The class is composed of ladies in their 30’s
and up who are single or the wives of husbands who do not attend
or who are in a men’s class.
Younger Adult Career Class
Meets at
10:30 a.m. upstairs in the Memorial Chapel Complex. The class
is taught by Steve Spence and Jonathan Davis. This is a very
active class and enjoys fellowship and ministry projects.
Young Adult Class
Meets at 9 a.m. in
the Memorial Chapel Complex upstairs. Tyler and Kimberly Webb
are the teachers for this Bible Study unit. The class is
composed of couples in their late 20’s and in their 30’s.
Older Young Adult Class
Meets at 9 a.m. at
the front of the main worship center building. Larry Way is the
teacher. This class is composed of couples who are in their 30’s
and up.
Median Adult Class
Meets at 10:30 a.m.
in the main worship center building. The classroom is located
on the organ side of the sanctuary. Travis Karp has been filling
in as the teacher. The class is composed of couples who are in
their 30’s and 40’s.
Median Adult Class
Meets at 9 a.m. in
the Memorial Chapel complex. Jenny Denney is the teacher. The
class is meeting on the first level in the social hall area due
to space limitations. This is a large class. The class age
range, 30’s to 50.
Median Adult Class
Meets at 9 a.m.
upstairs in the Memorial Chapel complex. Steve Shealy is the
teacher. The class age range, 40’s-50 . This is a large
class.
Median Adult Class
Meets at 10:30 a.m.
in the Brotherhood Building to the east of the Sanctuary complex
behind the church office. Glenn Womack teaches this class. This
is another large class. The class is composed of couples and
singles in their 40’s and 50’s.
Median Adult Class
Meets at 9 a.m. on
the first floor of the Memorial Chapel complex. Bill Ross
teaches this class. The class is composed of couples in their
40’s and 50’s.
Older Adult Class
Meets at 9 a.m. in
the Memorial Chapel complex upstairs. Dr. Bill Gammon teaches
this class. The class is composed of couples and singles in
their 50’s and 60’s.
SENIOR ADULT CLASSES
Couples Class
Meets at 9 a.m. in
the main worship center building on the piano side of the
Sanctuary. Doug Cone teaches this class. The age range of the
class members run from the late 50’s and into the 60’s. A very
active class.
Older Coed Class
Meets at 9 a.m. in
the main worship center building on the piano side of the
Sanctuary. Jerry Brunet teaches this class. The class is
composed of couples and singles.
Ladies Class
Meets at 9 a.m. in
the front of the main worship center building at 9 a.m. Peggy
Cribbs teaches this ladies class. The class is composed of
ladies in their 50’s and 60’s.
Older Ladies Class
Meets at 9 a.m. in
the main worship center building on the organ side of the
building. Mary Lathem is the teacher. This a large group of
ladies who are very active in ministry.
Older Ladies Class
Meets at 9 a.m. in
the main worship center building on the piano side of the
building. Jackie Ledford is the teacher. This is a large class
of ladies. The class has a very active social and ministry
calendar.
Older Ladies Class
Meets at 9 a.m. in
the main worship center building on the organ side of the
building. Francis Callaway and Martha Pharis teach this class.
Composed of married and single ladies.
Brotherhood Class
Meets at 9 a.m. in
the Brotherhood Building to the east of the church office. This
is a men’s class composed of men who are in their late 50’s,
60’s and 70’s. Gilbert Callaway and Vernon Gordy teach this
class. A very active class of men.
Sojourner Class
Older group of men
who meet at 9 a.m. in the main worship center building on the
organ side of the building. These men are taught by Jason
Ledford. The group is composed of men in their late 60’s, 70’s,
and 80’s.
