Welcome to the
Preschool Ministry at First Baptist
Church of Rincon
We have many programs designed especially
for your preschooler. We offer
age-graded Sunday School, Angel Band,
Mission Friends, and Kids for Jesus. We also
provide special events during the year
such as Vacation Bible School, a Fall
Festival Carnival, and quarterly parties
for preschoolers.
There are many ways that you and your
preschooler can become involved.

Vacation Bible School
(4
Years—Kindergarten)
VBS is a one-week adventure during the
summer that focuses on leading children to
Christ. This is one of the most exciting
weeks in the life of First Baptist Church.
Preschool Bible Study
(Infant—Kindergarten)
Bible Study A begins at 9 AM
Bible Study B begins at 10:30 AM
Each class has a set of talented teachers
that use Southern Baptist Literature. A
snack is provided for all classes at 10 AM.
A sign-in sheet is used by all classes from
birth through Pre-K. Each child has a
number assigned to them for easy notification
of the parent if there are any needs
during your child’s stay (Infants—3 Years).
Kids for
Jesus
Children's Church
(K-3rd)
Kids for Jesus is a weekly children’s
worship ministry designed to give kids
their own worship service. The worship
services are loaded with fun. They
include music, puppets, skits, group lessons,
prayer, and more while teaching Biblical
principles and application. Kids for Jusus is
for children up to 3rd grade.
Angel Band
(3
Years—Kindergarten)
Angel Band begins in August and runs
through May. They meet on Sundays at
4:30 PM. In addition to singing, the children
have a craft time and a snack time. They sing in a worship service at least
twice during the year.
Mission Friends
(3
Years—Kindergarten)
Mission Friends meet on Wednesdays at
7 PM. The study of missionaries
from around the world are the focus of
Mission Friends. They talk about their
lives among the unique people groups and
how they share Jesus’ love where
they serve. They also do various crafts
for hands-on learning experiences.
