Rev. Eric Hayes, Mission Church

Eric is pastor of the Baptist Church at Ebenezer, which began in November 2001 as a satellite church of First Baptist Church, to reach the Ebenezer Community, a rural area northeast of Rincon. The Baptist Church at Ebenezer worships in their new building located at 2401 Ebenezer Rd. which is 4 miles east of Highway 21. Eric became pastor in April 2003. Eric is a native of North Carolina, and is a graduate of Campbell University (B.A.) and Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary (M.Div.). His wife Jennifer also has a degree from Southeastern Baptist Seminary in religious education, and she is an 8th grade teacher at Ebenezer Middle School. They have two children, David and Bethany, who are in middle school.
